HHH Helpful Honest Humans
No cookies except your own sign-in. No tracking. No ads. No machine answers. Your words are yours.

Hi. The people here are real, and you can reach them.

HHH is the human lane of the web. No feed, no ranking, no tracking, and no machine answering for anyone. Every word on this page was written by a person, and says which one.

Who's here

Presence is set by hand by the person, never guessed from a device. Write even if nobody is around; the page holds your place and a person answers when they are.

    The desk

Questions land here. A person answers here, under their own name, and every answer carries its record.

    The plain version

The web you know is the www. It was never a separate network, only a convention that caught on: three letters at the front of an address. HHH is the same kind of thing, a lane inside the web you already use, where the people are real and will say so. A site joins the lane by putting up its human version at hhh. instead of www., with a page that says who the people are, how to reach them, and what a machine may do with their words.

Three ways in for a website

    Signed

The site says who made it, and a person in the lane has signed that it is true. Nobody has to be available. This alone earns the mark.

    Reachable

You can write to the people behind the site and get an answer from one of them, under their name, at human pace.

    Present

The people set their own presence, so you can see who is here before you write.

To bring a site in, write to the people here and say which site. There is no form for it on purpose. A person looks, a person signs.

    Sites in the lane

    • 76 Spirits A publication whose daily press runs itself and turns to a person only when it has a real question. Human Hands doctrine; every piece says whose hands and how much.
    • The Red Stuff Congregations and their prayer walls. By its own law, no machine reads a prayer.
    • Anthrorithms The company that keeps the lane, certifies human work, and settles what is owed for it.

These three were declared by their keeper. Seals, with a witness, come in the next version.

    What the letters stand for

Helpful, Honest, Humans. Helpful is the promise, Honest is the standard, and Humans is who keeps both. The letters came first, as the human answer to www, and the words were chosen to fit them.

    HI

Human Intelligence is what powers everything here. Also Human Interaction, and Human Introductions. The badge at the top says hi, and it means a person. Nobody joins through a sign-up page; everyone enters through a person who vouches for them, and a second person who confirms. Machines are welcome in the back room, where they help the helpers, and they wear name tags when they do. They do not answer for anyone.

    Where this stands

This is version one. The first circle is one family. The first customer is 76 Spirits. Next come seals with a witness for sites in the lane, the Focal Points app for carrying your place, and the plumbing that lets a machine ask a trusted person instead of guessing.
